When Enfamil A.R.™ reached out to me to try their Enfamil A.R.™ product I was eager to do so. Landon as an infant struggled with frequent spit-up. I can't tell you how many outfits, burp cloths, my clothes and my husband clothing ended up in the trash or repeatedly being washed due to this. It is common for babies to spit-up while their digestive system develops, and every baby does go through periods of fussiness and irritability. However, I could tell Landon's was a different case and we needed to try something new. I encourage you to speak with your pediatrician just as I did and learn the differences between acid reflux, also known as GERD and the much more common uncomplicated reflux known as GER. Being a first time mom I was unsure of the differences and was able to get a more clear understanding of the two. Uncomplicated GER may not be related to excess acid production, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests lifestyle changes as the first step to take and advises against the overuse of medications that will reduce production of stomach acid.
You can try burping more frequently and holding the baby upright after feeding along with using thickened feedings such as Enfamil A.R.  as an option. I discovered with Landon a combination of Enfamil A.R. frequent burping and sitting him upright after feeding worked and we soon worked through him spitting up as often.

Enfamil A.R.™ is the #1 selling brand of formula for spit-up and is clinically proven to reduce spit up by over 50% in infants with frequent spit up, while still providing the complete nutrition your baby needs to reach key milestones.
Should you have any questions Enfamil™ would be happy to help you with them at 1-800-BABY-123.
