This past weekend we took a mini vacation to Western North Carolina, Waynesville to be exact. Joining us on the trip were my parents along with my Papaw and Sue, this was their first time meeting Landon. Waynesville, is the town both my parents grew up in and where they met at the young age of 19. It's the small town I was born in and lived until the age of 4, where I would continue to visit each summer and some Christmas vacations at my Mamaw and Papaw's house. I still have some of my fondest childhood memories in this town. My one hope is to be able to share this part of my life with Landon and to continue making our own memories.
We arrived in Waynesville Wednesday evening and checked into a local cabin rental. It was a beautiful cabin with an even better view. The leaves this time of year are absolutely gorgeous. It really is a sight to see. All this week I will be posting pictures from our trip, highlighting each days activities. Enjoy!
