as soon as rey and i stepped out of the car to take these photos a wind storm of pollen, leaves, hypodermic needles and an empty cheetos bag blew across our faces. i look back to our car and see landon sitting in his car seat laughing at us. i often wonder what he thinks when rey takes photos of me. i imagine him going to school and asking his friends "does your mom go to a vacant field and have your dad take photos of her?" i'm sure his friends will look at him like he's crazy and wonder what kind of weird stuff rey and i are into.
