if you read yesterday's post then you are familiar with the target family bathroom debacle.
reference here if you are confused.
yesterdays experience takes a close second. landon has been sick with a cold for the past week or so. dirty preschool germs do that to ya. even with a hacking cough we decided to venture out. those two for twenty-five bath and body works candles needed to be purchased. no cough was holding us back. famous last words. one minute you are perusing the aisles smelling the most recent raspberry peach macaroon scent. the next you are pushing your stroller out of the store so quickly you knock over a stand of antibacs due to a toddler vomiting all over his lap. you reach into your bag to pull out your wipes. two wipes left. two wipes left to clean up toddler puke lap. sounds about right. sorry to gross you out first thing on a friday. daily life with a two year old tends to be grimy. motherhood aint for the faint at heart.

ReplyDeleteI hope he feels better really soon.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple passion you're wearing. The hat and top "go together" is really pretty.
This is So cute. I love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteHa..Ha.. Glad I'm not the only one who has had that happen. I took my daughter to Macy's when she was sick one time because of a sale and we got up to check out and she puked all over the counter! It was so horrible, I felt so bad for her. I think she was maybe 2 at the time. She was the first of 3 so I learned that lesson really quick! I never took the kids shopping again while were under the weather! Hope he feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteMan, I remember those days! Lovely colors. Stopping by from SITS comment love.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I can remember my toddler throwing up in my lap when I was wearing a pair of maternity pants that were a sort of velour fabric (cuter than it sounds). Anyway, try to get barf out of that.

ReplyDeleteOh no....I totally feel your pain!! We just had a recent throw up issue all over a friends microsuede lazy boy chair...yea, it ended up on the curb it was so bad.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS!!! Love the top and booties!!! And I have a 1 year old, so I can only imagine it'll get worse in public arenas!! haha Hope he feels better! Have a great day!

What an awful experience! I am always worried something like this will happen to my toddler and me too. Our worst has been vomiting in the van in the car seats - they are so hard to clean! Ugh! I hope he is feeling better this week and hasn't passed this virus to anyone else. Rhondda #SITSBlogging
ReplyDeleteFirst I must say I LOVE the layout of your blog. It's unique and very cool. I love your style especially the hat. Can't wait to see more posts in the future!

ReplyDeleteAdorable look! It has been a long winter. Hope you baby is all better soon.
ReplyDeleteBeen there with my 2 boys. It is not a fun experience, but take comfort that you are not alone. Anything for a sale (within reason) right! Love the top btw. Shaunna
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your boho chic style! Hope you have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love that blouse! It looks too cute on you.
ReplyDeleteWell my boss puked in the trash can in his office last week and had to go home. He is 57. You'd think he'd know by now to stay home when he is sick. Seriously though feel sorry for you. That did not sound fun.
ReplyDeleteHi! I wandered over to you blog from the SITS girls comment love, and I am so glad I did! Your blog is a really unique style I have never seen! Then again I am a newbie! But I love your post, it is very personable, and funny! I also love your style! AND random question but were you named after Stevie Nicks song? Because I am named after Stevie Nicks so I think that would be cool! HAHA sorry I am weird! But anyways LOVE THE BLOG!
ReplyDeletehi! thanks so much for stopping by! i am named after the fleetwood mac song, rhiannon! so funny, my husband and i always say if we have a girl we are naming her stevie! :)
DeleteRhiannon, oh dear what a week indeed. But as you've noted our paths aren't for the fainthearted. The irony of course is that these episodes become humorous tales down the road. I recollect my own embarrassing moment featuring a toddler who insisted she didn't have to 'use the bathroom' only to do so in the lobby of our building. The stream flowed as she walked, saturating her bell bottoms and leaving a trail in her wake. Those were the days. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope Landon feels better! You look beautiful! Hope you enjoy the rest of your week! ♥
