{peace of mind}

this day was spent taking long, leisurely walks through winding roads complete with brisk air, falling leaves and birds chirping in the distance. at least that's how in my memory i'll remember it. in reality it was complete with a wild baby running down mountain roads screaming at 8am while all of our other neighbors tried to sleep in the comfort of their cabins. me becoming frustrated "rey! why can't he (he meaning landon) just look at the camera for once!? is that so hard to ask? make him sit still!" alas, he hardly ever sits still long enough for us to take a photo of his face. unless he is sitting in front of a tractor and he can wave at the passerbyers.  he is completely fine with that....for 30 seconds until something else catches the corner of his eye. i wouldn't trade him for the world.
