faux fall

over the weekend rey and i gave our fall photo shoot set-up a test drive. we drove out to a gorgeous location here in central florida. left landon in the car watching mickey mouse clubhouse, or maybe it was doc mcstuffins? because that's what all good parents do. don't worry. before you go all DCF on me, the car was right next to us. i mean, it was within walking distance if we heard any sort of screams or weird sounds. anyways. as soon as we got everything set up exactly how we wanted it. after grueling minutes of deciding exactly where to place those bunting flags the rain chose to come at that exact minute. downpour. back to the car we went. well, back to the car i went. rey stayed outside getting rained on while he frantically grabbed all of our meticulously placed props to throw back into the car. luckily the rain passed. and i was left with frizzy hair. but i think i read somewhere that's in. and landon running around screaming like he had been set on fire, because that's what he does now when he sees a camera anywhere in his sight.
