shades of green

 you probably thought by reading my title i was going to indulge you in some sort of preview of an erotic mom novel. but no. clean up your mind. as far as i can remember my favorite color has always been green. i have hazel eye and learned early on how to play up that feature. you gotta work with what you are given, people.

you know when you are in elementary school and the teacher asks "susie, what is your favorite color?" susie's favorite color is usually pink...sometimes purple. but for the most part it's pink. well i was the only susie in the class that liked green so instead of telling the teacher my favorite color was green i went along with all the susie's and replied "pink". as a first grader i didn't want to be the only girl in the class that liked green. i already had a few things going against me by wearing huge pink plastic glasses and i wore woody the wood pecker earrings everyday for a year straight. of course i have since learned that it is ok to go against the grain and can proudly stand and say my favorite color is green.
