Landon: 9 Months

Another month has come and gone.


Landon,
I cannot believe you have been in our lives for 9 months now. Where has the time gone? There are times I miss your "newborness". But I do love watching you grow and learn each day. It amazes me the things you know how to do without even being taught. You truely are a gift. 

At 9 months you still continue to drool and chew on everything. Your two top teeth and two bottom teeth are both starting to come through. They should be here any. day. now..

Your favorite toy of the moment is Sophie the Giraffe, she seems to make your teeth and gums feel better. 

You love bath time and your new rubber ducky bathtub. You could sit in it for hours splashing and laughing at yourself.

You have mastered the art of crawling and now test your limits by trying to get into every little thing you come in contact with. When I tell you "No!" You quiver 

your lip and pretend to cry. (Quite the actor you are)

Now you can pull yourself up in your crib all by yourself. Once you pull up you walk around your crib by holding onto the rail. You also make sure someone is watching while you do this so you can get a well deserved clap afterwards. 

You are also on a really good sleep schedule as of late. Usually you take one morning nap and sometimes an afternoon nap. After bath time you are ready for bed at 7:45 p.m. and wake up around 6:00 a.m. each morning. Your Dad had to bolt your monitor to the wall because you starting knocking it off the crib each morning when you would wake up. I guess you were just trying to make sure we heard you...

One of your new favorite things is when your Dad makes a growling noise at Bella which then makes her bark. You think this is the most hilarious thing you have ever seen. Your little laugh gets me every time. I can't help but laugh each time I hear it. 

We took you to the doctor for your 9 month check up Monday and you currently weigh a solid 22 lbs.

Height: 28 3/4 

Head Circumference: 17 3/4 

Wear size 6-12 months in clothing and size 3 diapers.

You still hate socks and shoes on your feet.

Your hair seems to be getting lighter on the sides and a little darker on top. I am curious to see what hair color you will end up with. It is getting so long now! You will definitely need a hair cut by your first birthday! 

Your eyes are still a grayish blue shade and change depending on what you wear. 

You love blondes. Every time you see someone with blonde hair you automatically smile at them. If you don't then I know they are a creeper. :)

Your favorite shows right now are Mickey Mouse Club House, Chuggington & Little Einsteins. We go around singing Chuggington to you on a daily basis but we change Chuggington to "Bubbington" kinda weird but whatever. As soon as you hear it you smile so that's all that really matters.

You are good now at eating your solids. There is an occasional slap of the bowl or spoon and the entire bowl of food goes flying and lands all over our white shag rug. But in fairness what sane person feeds a baby over a white rug. Yeah. Lesson learned on that one.

We have determined from trial and error you have a wheat allergy. No more rice cereal, puffs or oatmeal for you. Which is fine. You were never a big fan of them anyways.
