8 Months!!!

My favorite little boy turned 8 months February 3rd.

Farther time: please slow down a teeny bit, I need more time to soak up all of these moments.

Landon, you amaze me at how much you grow and change each passing day,week, even hour.

At 8 months you still have no teeth but drool and chew like they are going to break through any day.

Your favorite toy is a toss up between Bella's plush octopus toy or the laptop. Anytime you see that apple logo light up you swarm to it like a hive of bees on honey.

You have such an independent personality. There are times you still just want to be held but for the most part you are content just sitting on your rug in your play room rolling around playing with your toys or pulling Bella's tail.

Your favorite sound to make is "Dadadadada" and you like to mimic when someone coughs or laughs.

You have your own form of crawling which consists of pulling yourself around by the edge of the rug or if you see Bella's octopus toy out of the corner of your eye you can suddenly crawl with a quickness.

You can pull yourself up onto things with the help of others or by holding onto a solid object. Each time you do this you beam with happiness.

You weigh 20lbs..and counting...

Wear size 6-12 months in clothing and size 3 diapers.

You hate socks and shoes on your feet.

As soon as you get in your car seat you almost immediately yank off your right sock and put it under your arm.

Your hair is starting to fill in and is a dirty blond color and you still have grayish blue eyes that change depending on what you are wearing. (you can thank me for those)

You are finally starting to like solids. With such a refined pallet preferring Ella's Kitchen and Plum Organics pouches the best.

Once you got down the process of being spoon fed you decided to start spitting the food out as soon as the food touches your lips. Which almost always ends in a mess. It's still a work in progress.

You are the best thing that has happened to myself and your Dad. You bring us both so much joy and happiness and I can't even imagine life without you.
