i bought this dress last weekend at urban outfitters. it was on clearance. upon seeing it was on clearance instead of just scooping it up and trying it on. my mind started to race "why is it on clearance? it's a spring print. which, i mean, spring hasn't even started yet. sure, it's warm here but everywhere else it's like negative four. maybe they made too many and just want to get rid of them. or. maybe they fit weird. or. maybe i'm thinking way too much about a $20.00 dress and should just buy it." so i did just that. and later learned it has pockets. pockets and on clearance. winning.

the other day as i was casually perusing the aisles of target with landon an elderly man approached me. me, being as clueless as can be i assumed he was going to ask me what aisle the cheese is on. because, i'm pretty sure i look like the type of person that just knows where the cheese is located. i was wrong. instead he tapped me on my shoulder and said "i've never seen a real life witch in person. but, you must get that all the time." laughed and went on his way. i just stood there. confused. what just happened? a target employee walked by me and saw my puzzled expression and asked if i needed any help. "yes, can you point me in the direction of the cheese?"

i borrowed this sweater from rey's side of the closet. and by borrowed i mean stole. he ordered it for himself to wear on our trip to san francisco. before placing his order he asked me if i liked it i replied "oh yes, it's super cute." then whispered to myself for me to wear, after you wear it of course".

One of my favorite spots we visited in San Francisco was Alcatraz. I have a weird obsession with jails. I love all jail shows and kinda wish I worked in a jail. Rey seems to think I would only last an hour. I say at least two.

Pull-Ups®

Potty training. We've all been there. Whether you are a first time parent, training your eighth child. Maybe you aren't even a parent, you had to learn how to use the potty as some time. Well, let's hope you did at least. When it comes time to potty train it is an exciting milestone for your child, but as parents (as least for myself) it can be a difficult process. My child is one of the most stubborn human beings that has ever existed. He would sit on the potty. Sometimes he would act like a flopping fish out of water and flail on the floor to avoid the potty at all costs. Other times he would proudly tell me
"Mommy! I peed in the bathtub, not the potty!"
That's where Pull-Ups® Training Pants come in to play. Pull-Ups® help make potty training a fun and educational experience by guiding the process through independent learning while still offering the right amount of protection. Pull-Ups® come with stretchy sides that teach toddlers how to take them off and on by themselves. These easy-open sides make it super easy for parent and child to check for potty breaks.
Every child is unique - when you can enroll in the Pull-Ups® Big Kid Academy here and begin your own customized potty training journey today you will receive a personalized "My Pull-Ups®"page complete with potty training activities and customized advice to point you in the potty training direction.
Parents can also find great potty training resources at the tip of their fingers with the Pull-Ups® Time to Potty app. This tool will motivate, educate and rewards potty training behavior. I have this app and can speak from experience. It helped my stubborn three-year-old develop a consistent routine while incorporating puzzles, music and coloring pages.
Last, but not least, use this link to download your own coupon for $2 off one package of Pull-Ups® Learning Designs Training Pants (Jumbo Pack or larger).
