quick // 71

well that weekend went by with a quickness. between beach trips, forgetting landon's iPad at a beach restaurant which meant returning to the beach the next day to retrieve it.  to landon losing his iPad for twenty four hours is the most devastating thing to happen in his short three years. oh, and he caught some sort of three year old virus that included throwing up curdled milk at all hours of the night, among other things.
i'm already counting down the days til friday.

slipped // 70

the thing about slip dresses is you can wear them to the grocery store and they transition easily into your afternoon nap. because who wants to nap in skinny jeans or a bow tie? happy thursday. one step closer to friday.

Smilestones with Orajel™

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Orajel Kids
#Orajel #Smilestones #AD

Being a mom of a growing toddler I have used various products for his teeth and gums. Each time I find myself reaching for Orajel Kids products. I love how Orajel™has a product for every stage of your child's growth. From your baby's first tooth to now a feisty three year old that brushes his teeth on his own. Orajel™is currently celebrating all of your child's #smilestones, check it out here to see what all the buzz is about.

My toddler is picky, like any other three year old out there. Taste is important to him. With help from Orajel™ my stubborn "I can do it on my own" child now enjoys brushing his teeth. He loves using his Bubble Guppies Orajel™ toothbrush along with his Thomas & Friends Orajel™ Training Toothpaste. Each morning and night we brush our teeth together, when he is finishes he turns to me with his mouth wide open and exclaims "Ahhhh so fresh!" I can't help but laugh.

If you are anything like me you have tons of photos of your children. Submit one here of your child's favorite Smilestone moment for a chance to win a trip for a family of four to Beaches Resort.

Have you tried any of the Orajel™ products? Did your child enjoy them as much as mine?

beachin' // 67

summer has now officially started. according to the lorenzo household that is. we took our first beach trip of the season on saturday and all that was missing was jake owen. kidding. kinda. like half kidding. landon started off the trip all into digging in the sand, building sand castles and diving into the ocean trying to find nemo. shortly thereafter  he realized he was covered in sticky sand and opted for being rinsed off and spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on a towel in the trunk of the car snacking on doritos. doritos and the beach go together like fried pickles and ranch dressing. snacks while hiding from the sand? a kid after my own heart.

dressed // 65

i have a collection of dresses stored in the back of my closet i have yet to wear. it's kinda pointless to dress to impress during the week when all you have to impress is a three year old little boy. although, whenever i do put on a dress he does tell me i look like a princess. that's always a confidence boost.

a pineapple a day // 64

pineapple prints are the new cats prints and before cats, owls were on everything from door mats to bathing suits. the irony of this tank is, i'm wearing pineapples and i can't even eat them. i discovered in the last year or maybe it's been five years? time goes quick when you have a wild three year old. what was i talking about? pineapples. ok, yeah. i discovered sometime in my lifetime that i am allergic to them. they make my throat get all itchy when i eat them. i've actually never been diagnosed by a doctor. i self diagnosed with a little help from webmd. that's what the website is intended for, yes?

addicted // 63

like the rest of america i have been marathon watching oitnb (orange is the new black for all you non believers) this week. i wanted to finish last night but rey insisted "let's save the last two episodes for tomorrow night." i looked at him like he had four heads. little does he know i'll just watch them today during the day then tonight re-watch them with him and pretend like it never happened. all is well. until he reads this and realizes i am a big fat liar. oh well. gotta get my fix somehow.

Through the Lens

This post was sponsored by Glasses.com through their partnership with POPSUGAR. While I was compensated by POPSUGAR to write a post about Glasses.com, all opinions are my own.

As a child growing up in the 80's I was raised wearing oversized, hot pink, plastic framed glasses. I first learned I needed glasses at the age of 8. "Rhiannon, are you having trouble reading the chalkboard in class?" My teacher asked. "No. I can see just fine." An eye test proved my response to be incorrect. Since that young age I have continued wearing glasses. As a young child I was nervous wearing glasses. I would hide behind them and use them as a shield to cover my flaws. Now as an adult and a mother myself I have learned to love my glasses and not view them as a an imperfection. I love myself when wearing my glasses and am now more confident than ever while wearing them. When it comes to finding the perfect glasses to make me feel self-assured I go to glasses.com. They are my one stop shop for a variety of modern glasses that not only reflect my style but my budget as well. Make sure you check them out and find the perfect frames to not only frame your face but, your life.

Watching this video brought back a flood of memories of my own childhood. Just like Eleanor I began wearing lenses at a young age and have continued to do so well into my adulthood.
