Clorox Ick Awards // 42

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Clorox.

Ick. As parents we have all experienced our share of icky moments. When Clorox asked me to share one of times my initial thought was "Yikes. One? Where do I even begin?". Landon has had his fair amount of icky moments in his nearly three short years. One that pops into mind immediately is when he took it upon himself to climb into the refrigerator, grab a freshly purchased dozen carton of eggs and proceed to play what the refereed to as "ball" in the kitchen. Parents, you know that moment. When it's far too quiet in the house. A eerie feeling creeps up on you. What is that? Silence. And then we sprint off anticipating to find the worst. Usually in that moment it does seem like the worst. This specific time I find Landon smiling up at me playing ball with all twelve eggs. Eight of them cracked on the floor and the dog trying to lick up the evidence. He proudly announced "Mommy. I playing ball!!" To which I reply "Yes. I see that." Followed by a huge sigh along with grabbing the camera for a photo. You can always clean up a mess but, moments like this only happen once. At least you hope only once!

What's a hilariously icky moment you have experienced?  Follow @clorox on Twitter and share your own icky moment using the hastag #ickies to be entered to win $2,500 in prizes. Then make sure you check out the Clorox Ick Awards Twitter Event on April 9 from 6-10 p.m. ET to see if you are a winner! The #ickies will be the messiest virtual awards show ever, featuring comedy inspired by your real-life moments. This is one mess you don't want to miss!

And don't forget to visit Clorox here and sign up for their email newsletter to learn more about how Clorox can help you laugh through the mess. Let's face it. Sometimes it's easier just to laugh!
