a few weeks ago i was approached by the designer/owner, jennifer of the adorable etsy shop 2tinyhearts she creates the cutest handmade and personalized jewelry. i am currently obsessed with wearing my initials, landon's and my husbands. it makes it easy when they all being with either an r or l.  jennifer was generous enough to create this amazing necklace for me. it is the state of florida, which is where i live with a stamped heart on central florida which is also where i reside. she also added one of her creative touches to my piece and included a heart stamped with the letter r and an adorable round piece with R L R which stands for Rey, Landon, Rhiannon. I absolutely adore this necklace! anything that makes me feel like my family is close to me when they are away has me beaming with happiness. another touch i love that jennifer adds is her packaging. so adorable! my necklace came complete with a darling burlap sack with her company name stamped on it. personal touches like these make me want to keep ordering from her! make sure you check her out and tell her i sent ya! happy shopping.

i'm a big fan of anything of the lace or crochet texture. this dress is perfect for the springlike weather we are experiencing here. plus. i got it for a steal at target. why is target so amazing these days? not sure. but i'll take it.

this weekend flew by like they all seem to do. the weather here in central florida was gorgeous. not too hot. not too cold. just right. i'm sure my days are numbered saying that.

stolen from the men's side

i stole this jacket from the men's side of target. i didn't really steal it. i paid for it. in full. like two months ago and now it's on clearance. plus, if i had stolen it i would get caught. i have one of those faces that can't hide stuff very well. like, if i don't care for you. you know it. within at least 45 seconds of meeting me. 

i promise i'm not as horrible as i'm making myself out to be.

animal adventures

we took landon to animal kingdom on saturday. you see all sorts of attire at disney. how do you dress for a theme park? i tend to still dress how i would in everyday life. my favorite look of the day was the brazilian women in 6 inch stilettos. i was confused yet intrigued. how do they do it? are their feet really attached to their bodies? do they just let them go numb and ignore that excruciating pain circulating through their toes?

band trivia

i bought this tee thinking it was led zeppelin. i was all excited. got in the car and was all "look rey, i scored this really cool zeppelin tee." then i slowly read where it says def leppard and not led zeppelin. i guess the "l's" in both the names really threw me off. just don't ask me any def leppard trivia if you see me out wearing this. or led zepplin for that matter.

she's always buzzin just like. neon. neon. a little john mayer reference to start your thursday. ironically the name of that album is any given thursday. john mayer was my jam back in the day. and by day i mean early 2000's. i also feel like i'm dating myself by using the word "jam". do people still use that?

hair revival

i got my hairs cut yesterday. it had been awhile and by awhile i mean like 6 months. sometimes you need to freshen those locks up. i have been going to the same girl for a few years now. she is amazing. she pretty much knows exactly what i want without me giving much direction and it always turns out better than i expected. it's funny how just trimming a few inches off seemed to transform my color. i'm all for not having to get a new color when it looks like i did. if you live in the orlando area make sure you check out alchemy the salon here! ask for tiffany. she will change your life. well. at least your head!

these photos are from our cruise last month. walking down this hallway gave me sea legs. i always felt like i was going to bump into the wall or the next three year old that came sprinting along in her princess tiana costume. although, it might not of been the sea legs making me walk funny but the overabundance of miller lites i had consumed. kidding. kinda of.
