{anklecising}

these are what i like to refer to as my anklecising pants. mainly because each ankle feels like you are a 60 year old power walker with 10lb weights attached. fashion and function? what more could you ask from a pant?

it's been in the 80's here in florida. in december. yeah. that sounds about right. i hear there are places out there that have seasons. like, actual leaves and cold weather and snow and all that jazz. but, for now i'm stuck in central florida where people are still wearing flip flops and dukes.

i love this jacket. i mean. i really love this jacket. the structure of it. the detail. the slight shoulder pad effect without looking too 80's. and i love the fact that i got it at target. which no one knows. well. until now. happy friday!

{gifting problems}

why is it when i go christmas shopping or any type of holiday shopping for that matter i end up finding the most random things that i "need". i really needed that christmas sticky moustache set and that ugly christmas dog sweater from the dollar section. i did however manage to pick up a few treasures for the ones i love.  i also have a problem with keeping gifts a secret and promptly ran home exclaiming to rey "look! look, what i got you for christmas!" which he replies "um. it's december 1st"

i love this kid.

like. a lot. 

as much as he is a wild terror running around knocking anything and everything over. all the while leaving a trail of toys, brooms and christmas decor as his trail. 

i can't help but laugh and thank the lord for blessing him in our lives for these past 18 months.
