olympic fever

we have serious olympic fever over here. i have always enjoyed the olympics. growing up as a swimmer for 12+ years i have always loved watching. i love the competition factor, getting to know all of the athletes and rallying with your country for a win. landon has even gotten into the spirit and has chose to be team usa and team lochte. can't really say i blame him. happy watching and go team usa!

morning to noon

this dress i wore sunday to church and brunch followed by running errands and food truckin' it in the afternoon. it was an easy dress to change from early morning to afternoon with a quick hat addition and changing from wooden heels to sandals.

swag for days.

ok. i'm totally over the word "swag" just as much as the next person. but. seriously. this kid. he amazes me with his poses and his walk. where the heck did this come from? how do you even know how to do that at his age? i have posted some of these photos before but yesterday i was looking through them again and i just can't believe how fast he has grown. he is no longer a baby. his baby features are slowly disappearing along with his thigh rolls. we are now entering a new stage. a new stage filled with laughter, screaming at the worst possible times, not wanting to be in his stroller, hair chair or any other apparatus that makes you have to sit for periods of time. i'll take the wild hyena screaming in return for those sweet hugs and kisses which are usually accompanied by hair pulling. pick your battles people.
