rubber ducky you're the one...

We bought Landon a new bathtub over the weekend due to the fact it was becoming quite a challenge to bathe a 20+lb baby in the sink. When their legs start dangling over the countertop, it's time for an upgrade. We chose an adorable blow up rubber ducky. Which ended up not being the most practical thing in the world but was totally worth it just to capture these photos and video. Another bath tub purchase will be happening sometime in the near future. Any suggestions are welcome! Landon absoulely loved it! He thought the water was the most hilarious thing he had ever seen, then proceeded to cry when we made him get out. He is just way too cute for his own good sometimes! Love him!

Happy Birthday to my Favorite Shopping Buddy!

Today my Mom turns another year older...51 to be exact, we can keep her age a secret between us. She is the most caring person I know and would do anything for her family. My brother and I are so fortunate to have her as our mother, she made our childhood the best one we could of ever hoped for. Always surprising us with treats here and there to let us know she is thinking about us and genuinely always being there for us whenever we needed her. 

Some of my favorite memories growing up are going shopping with her or maybe the time we recently went to 5 different Target's looking for the Missoni for Target line and my car overheated and something leaked and I had to call a tow truck. That was a day for the books. But we did snag some sweet Missoni gear.

I am beyond grateful that she is able to take care of Landon for me during the  week while I go to work. The one on one attention he gets from her day in and day out can never be repaid. I can only hope to be as good of a mother to Landon as she has been for me. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Spring is Springin'

Here in sunny Florida we skipped "Winter" and went straight to our 75-80 degree Spring weather. Which can be somewhat frustrating when year after year I buy more than my fair share of scarves, boots and sweaters and end up wearing them each maybe once. You would think I would learn after living here 24 or so years. But, nevertheless Spring is here and will be here until next month when we jump straight to the 90's.
