weekend fun!

weekends were made for fun.

saturday, rey and i got a chance to hang out with our friends megan and carlos, along with their adorable 8 month old baby girl, lennon. we spent the day at downtown disney. it was a super hot day but lots of fun. unfortunately, we don't get to hang out with them often but when we do, it's a great time. :) we had lunch at the t-rex restaurant which was super cool. i had never been there before but the decor and ambiance is awesome, i would definitely recommend checking it out. the best part was seeing landon and lennon interact, i can't wait for landon to be a little bit bigger where he can really sit and play with lennon, it was seriously adorable! after lunch we did some shopping and listened to a really awesome guitar player outside. it was a super fun day and can't wait to see them again.
sunday, i spent the day with my mom and dad having lunch and doing some fall decor shopping. i ended up with a super cute wreath for our front door and some more candles from bath and body works. i also scored some christmas jammies and outfits for landon. you can never be to early for the holidays. :) i hope everyone had a great weekend and has an even better week!

fall...ish weather

 the weather here in sunny lake mary, florida has not reached 100* the past 2 days so i decided to get a head start on my fall decorating. i still have some more to do, along with my halloween stuff but here are a few peeks at what i did put out. have a happy weekend!

Missoni-Impossible

as most of you know this tuesday was the target release of the missoni for target collection. it just so happened that i had off for the day and was able to scour my local target(s) at 9am. most people were savages and had been waiting at the door since 6am and had already dug through all of the goodies.  unfortunately, the stores didn't carry some of the items i wanted and the target website was crashing all day long that by the time i was able to get on the site, they had already sold out of all the items i wanted. but, i was able to find some key pieces for my fall wardrobe!

i adore this poncho, for now i can pair it with shorts and tee until it gets cooler out.

i cant wait to pair this dress with tights and jewelry.

weekend quickness.

the weekend went by entirely too fast...like they always do. friday night it was storming so rey and i stayed in and watched 20/20 or Dateline or maybe it was 48 hours, not really sure but it was definitely one of those three. saturday we had breakfast at keke's in winter park followed by starbucks and a trip to baby gap. you can never have too many baby clothes and don't let anyone ever convince you that you can. we then spent the rest of the afternoon watching college football and sampling some delish pumpkin ale. sunday our friends nicole and chris came to visit form st. augustine. we spent the afternoon at the lake eola farmer's market followed by lunch at gringos locos. it was a super fab weekend spent with my little family. have a happy monday!
